ANA Ticket Validity

ANA Ticket Validity is 1 year (the same day of the following year) from the original ticket-issue date unless otherwise provided in the applicable fare rules. (for 29FEB of a leap year, validity is 28FEB of the following year.)

Refund

Any refund of fares, taxes, fees, and charges will be made no later than 30 days after the expiration date of the Ticket

1. Totally unused tickets
   Valid for 1 year and 30 days from the ticket-issuance date
   (e.g) 01DEC 2022 Ticketing = 01DEC 2023 Expiration > Refund by 31DEC 2023
    
2. Partially used tickets
   Valid for 1 year and 30 days from the outbound travel date
   (e.g) 01DEC 2022 Ticketing > Traveled outbound on 01DEC 2023 = 01DEC 2024 Expiration > Refund by 31DEC 2024

Exchange

1. Totally unused tickets
   Valid for 1 year from the ticket-issuance date
   (e.g) 01DEC 2022 Ticketing > Must depart on/before 01DEC 2023 = 01DEC 2024 Expiration
    
2. Totally unused tickets with previous exchanges
   Valid for 1 year not from the date that the original ticket is issued but from the date that the ticket is exchanged.
   (e.g) 01DEC 2022 Ticketing > Exchange on 01DEC 2023 to travel on 01SEP 2024 = 01DEC 2024 Expiration
    
3. Partially used tickets
   Unless otherwise specified in the fare rule, travel must be completed within 1 year from the outbound travel date. (e.g)
   TYO    -    NYC    -    LAX    -    X/TYO    -    OSA
