Regulations stipulate infants occupying a seat must be seated next to an adult who can set O2 (oxygen) masks for the infant. Based on those provisions, we have re-examined our Infant Occupying a seat in business class restrictions and the following table displays the updated acceptable seating on international flights:
|Cabin Class||Aircraft Type||Seat Configuration||is an Infant occupying a seat permitted?||GDS response to INF Keyword|
|First Class||All Aircraft type||-||Not Permitted||UC||SOC INFT UNA USE IN THE CABIN|

|HK||PLZ ASR D/F OR E/G FOR SOC INFT AND ADULT|

*A320-800 (C8/Y138), B787-8 (C42/Y198 and C42/Y193) Cradle seat type permit infant occupying a seat.

GDS Keyword Entry
As always, we would like to remind you that when creating a reservation with an Infant occupying a seat, it's essential that the INFANT SSR/Keyword is entered into the system and related to the infant. Once entered, the system will judge the cabin class and equipment and will send a message based on eligibility. "UC" for the non-eligible equipment and "HK" for the eligible equipment.
