A while ago, Japan Introduced the option to use the MySOS service which allowed travelers to breeze through quarantine procedures by pre-registering documentation for a smooth and seamless entry into Japan.
Recently, the Japanese government announced that the MySOS service will end on November 13, 2022, and passengers entering Japan will need to use a new service called Visit Japan Web from November 14, 2022.
- For travelers entering Japan before October 31, 2022, please use the "Fast Track" MySOS app.
- For travelers entering Japan between November 1 and November 13, 2022, who have already registered their documents through the "Fast Track" MySOS app by October 31, no further action is required. If registering on/after November 1, travelers would need to use Visit Japan Web.
- For travelers entering Japan on/after November 14, 2022, please use Visit Japan Web.
