New Fare Types and Free/Paid Advance Seat Reservation Eligibility Change

Effective from July 3, 2024, ANA fare brand naming and ASR (Advance Seat Reservation) logic was updated. ASR logic is now determined by Fare Type rather than RBD. Branded Fares will be gradually introduced market by market.

Applies to tickets issued on/after July 3, 2024.

*1.Set fares vary depending on route and seat availability.
*2.Applicable checked baggage rules differ depending on the route.
*3.Some seats, such as aisle and window seats can be reserved in advance with a fee.
Please check the international flight advance seat reservation fee exemptions for ANA Diamond Service or Platinum Service members.
*4.Including ANA Diamond Service or Platinum Service members.

Notes:

  • The seat map will be displayed following the updated Fare Types, not by the booking class.
  • Japan domestic flights operated by NH will not be subject to this rule.
  • If a booking class (Q or higher) that previously allowed complimentary seat assignment now requires a fee for seat selection, the fee will be determined by the Fare Type. Tickets issued on or before July 2, 2024, will continue to enjoy the privilege of selecting seats in advance without incurring any additional charges. However, seat assignments will be subject to the new rules corresponding to the Fare Type for voluntary changes.

ANA uses ATPCO branded fares which is an industry standard distribution method supported by all the major GDS.
